About: Atlanta Cecilia’s music is a little bit jazz, a little bit blues and a lot of soul. She’s a true troubadour, shining brightest when performing her musical poetry – be it on stage, as a busker or in the studio.
Atlanta’s fairytale began in Ibiza, Spain. Born on a finca on the magical island, she spent her childhood surrounded by artists and nature. The next chapter, in Canberra Australia brought more poetry and music into her repertoire thanks to her interest in theatre and absorbing her parents musical taste, who surrounded her with everything from Bob Dylan to Bartoli.
Her debut studio album, North, recorded in London, sees jazz guitarist John Bratoeff and award- winning artist/producer Ben Lamdin aka Nostalgia 77 crystallise a vision that’s been a long time comin’.
North expresses Atlanta’s journey back to the Northern hemisphere, detailing the trails of artistic introspection in tracks like Plenty of Time and Complete and the artist’s need to push her comfort zones as expressed in tracks like Have Not and
Given A Life, where she began exploring life as a street performer.
Treasure is the debut single from the album speaking poetically about the longing we can feel for riches outside us.
