About: My parents say that when I was 2 years old, at a summer camp in the French Alps, the only thing that would keep me from crying was the sound of the guitar played by one of the camp councillors.
I started playing the piano when I was 9, but stopped when my tutor retired from teaching – I couldn’t find anyone else I was comfortable with. But a few years later, I picked up the guitar, and haven’t put it down since.
I played in a band during my early teenage years, devoting all my time to improving my skills on the electric guitar, trying my best to become a master shredder. However, a couple years after forming the band, the frontman had to move away and so I tried my voice at singing. That was the turning point for me musically. And so for the past 7 years, I have been focusing all my energy on singing and songwriting and have made the switch from band member to solo acoustic act, trying to touch people with my music, the same way I have been touched by so many other artists’ music.
