Tim Walck

About:  Tim Walck has been teaching and performing music since 2000. He taught at Lycoming University in Williamsport Pennsylvania, USA between 2004-2007 and completed a B.A. in music performance with a focus on the clarinet at Mansfield University in 2007. In 2009, Walck returned to Mansfield University and completed an M.A as a Specialist in Music Education.

Tim has performed as a guest clarinetist for the Williamsport Symphony for pieces such as Rhapsody in Blue and La Création du monde, Op. 81a. He has also worked in a jazz quintet for the theme park, Hershey Park for 5 years, and spent 2 years traveling the globe with Celebrity Cruise Lines. In his on going performance career, Tim has worked with artists such as:, Idina Menzel, Alfie Zappacosta Andre Canniere, , Ernie Krivda, Bob Sneider, Denis DiBlasio, Chris Vadala, Ingrid Jensen, Ian Brock, and many others.

Just before relocating to Dubai, Tim held the position of 1st clarinet with the Great Lakes Wind Symphony of Rochester New York, regularly performed with the jazz trio (which he founded and managed), and performed regularly with a rhythm and blues band. At his Pennsylvania residence, he was also the first call woodwind artist for recording projects with composer/song writer, Larry Herbstritt, and has been featured on a handful of the composer’s productions in Nashville TN.

Most often plays at:  Symphonies, orchestras, and in bands with residencies across the city.
